"Every revolution begins with a spark" -Benjamin Franklin
Introduction
The Industrial Revolution took place from the 18th to the 19th century, It was a time during which commonly countryside societies in Europe and America became industrial and urban — city overtook country. Before the Industrial Revolution, manufacturing was often done in people’s homes, using hand tools or basic machines. Industrialisation marked a shift to powered, special-purpose machinery, factories and mass production. The iron and textile industries, along with the development of the steam engine, played big roles in the Industrial Revolution, along with a lot of other improvements including banking, transportation and communication. While industrialisation brought an increased variety of manufactured goods and an improved standard of living for some, it also resulted in terrible employment and living conditions for the poor and working classes.
